Biog
I was born in Northampton in 1959 and I'd say that my interest in photography started when I was 12. Aware that I liked and collected images from wherever possible, my mother bought me a Box Brownie from a local jumble sale. I was off!
I took my first serious portrait at the ripe age of 16. Taken in black and white, it was of a local farmer in all his glory - it was my dear oId grandfather, on his farm in East Haddon Northamptonshire. When I look at the photograph today I can still smell the mud on his boots!
I spent some years travelling after studying at art school, indulging in my love of imagery and photography. Some years ago I lived in Italy, here, I met the most beautiful people and experienced a different culture with fabulous photographic opportunities along the way.
More recently, my work has been within the world of commercial photography, promotions and advertising. Some of my portraits have the honour of being commissioned by The National Portrait Gallery.
Driven by my fondness of stars of both screen and stage, what you see here is a sample of my non-professional work over the past 15 years. I'm quite proud of my portrait collection and eternally grateful to the actors who have made it all possible. It was a pleasure to make their acquaintance.
